Remember the first blue Slingshot wings, the H2 and the warp speed etc ..they were solid carbon and indestructible and they weighed a ton ,but you could push the AR limits of that type of construction further ?
I picked up a carbon g10 HA machined wing. 890 span about 9/1 aspect ratio. It is the holy grail of wings so far as I'm concerned.

Wow ! how does that work ? Do they machine g10 then glass a layer of carbon over it ?Definitely can go thin and wide with solid wings and I don't know if the weight really matters that much, only when your carrying it down the beach.
High modules prepreg and a hollow mould should allow super stiff and thin foil plane.
Just remember moth guys have been here before, and this is their latest generation of foil, it is however solid carbon.
113cm2 span
830cm2
AR 15.38

Apologies all for double reply.
French designers have been killing it recently.

These are sick, and it looks like we're finally elevating on shape and no longer removing surface area to get the same effect. Plus you can tell at 800cm and AR 10.3. This thing would be FAST!
Yeah those Gongs look really good . That 800 is very similar to the Cabrinha by looks of things and pricing way better . Be interesting to hear how they good.
Love the translation.. for surfing..."at cruising speed is a real real challenge not recommended",and kite foiling "it's too wide to forget ". It appears that it's a specialist wing foiling speed foil and fast DW foil but not really a surf foil.Construction and shape is most similar to the army Ha's by the look with 12k carbon etc.

They have two other new HA foils that are DW and surf oriented. The Ypra is their race foil.
