Good stuff.
I got my XL wing about a week ago. Hope I get up on my 4 metre wingding this time.
Would like the medium slim & the longer mast. I blew out of the water on a good turn yesterday. Wondering how the slim would've handled it?

The foil data sheet has, but I don't know the source:
HP Small 700
HP Med 800
HP Large 900
HP XL 1000

Just measured mine:-
XL 1020
L 880
M 780
S. 700

The new HP medium is now thinner with a narrower cord and a bit of M shape . This reflects in all the wings . The small is as narrow it can go with the fuse connection right at the front of the wing .

Damn! Just when I thought my quiver is well set up and I won't have to buy anything for a while!!

The HP large could be the go to for the vast majority of wing and wave foiling that I do

Can you please post some pics showing the front view with the curve and foil shape

Just shows I'm not up to date with even more wings coming on the market.
So now looks like Neilpryde has the High Performance (HP). After the Slim wings.
I was surprised to see one of my mates get up & going on a Naish HP medium foil & 5 metre Wingding. Generated heaps of speed. I think it was the HA 1400 foil. In about 15 knots.

Hey when you say "a bit of M shape" do you mean the new wings have a bit of dihedral/gull wing shape?

If so I am really frothing!! It seems like a bit of dihedral is the way to go for surf performance

The new HP medium looks a fair bit smaller than the old medium slim.Talking to a local here who ordered a wing a while back and is still waiting for it, now he's spewing they have come out with a new range before he's even got his old one.Wonder what they'll be like for supply this time.

Oooh yeah looks awesome, nice subtle dihedral, thin profile and mid to high aspect.

It seems like these characteristics are the new standard in surf performance wings with the Armstrong HS wings and the new Axis 860 all exhibiting similar characteristics

Not sure about that. These 2 photos look like different wings

Wow are you sure
Have a look at the tips they look quite thick from front view.

I saw the 670 in the water the other day. The curves on that thing are ... voluptuous.

Gee it wasn't that long ago that people were knocking some of the Chinese foils because they were too thin and the thicker leading edges were the way to go.

Piros, put the vernier gauge on it and get the actual thickness, and end the speculation.

I think if you take all the photos into account it looks quite thin and certainly thinner than the current NP glide large

Agree was just pointing out the difference. Thought it was an interesting talking point. With all the curves going on it is so hard to get a good photo of a foil showing what they really look like.

Hey guys designer of the wings here, just wanted to clear up a few things! The data on the spreadsheet is from me so should all be accurate. The difference between the slim and Hp medium is mainly speed and efficiency. The slim is still plenty capable in the surf as Keahis videos show! All front wing sizes work great with the old glide small tailwing too.

Well it looks like the NP crew have pulled it out of the bag, just when I was considering switching brands! Now the new HP large looks the ideal wing for me

But the big question remains is when can we get the new wings? Will there be big delays like when I waited 2 months+ for my NP xl wing?

Also what does HP stand for? I am assuming it means High Performance but it could also mean
Get Hell Pitted and through some Hi Power Hacks n' Punts all whilst avoiding a Heinous Pandemic

Yep, I was about to change brands as well. Might hold off and wait a bit now. Be nice if NP could change the plate board connector to something a little easier as well. Not easy aligning holes when you forget your specs at home.

I called my local NP dealer today and he was unsure of when the new wings would be available.

He did however mention there would also be a HL series coming out!!!

He didn't have much or really any info thats not already in this thread but its an exciting time for us poor wing starved NP riders
