My Mini Motion stopped logging after about the 15min point in my last session.
When I turned it on before I started, it displayed 2 red 1 green. Bugger - it didn't charge properly.
At the end of the session it turned OFF like usual with the red fade out, so it was ON for the entire session.
After downloading the file I found that it only recorded for about 15 - 20minutes of the 2h50min session.
The real Session
Please send me the log: julien@motion-gps.com
Please charge it again and relaunch it for a full log. To see if it was a one-off or a recurring event.
I'll only check it Tuesday because I have 25 to ready for Monday.
I would have hoped that it lasted longer that 20min with 1 third charge & at least logged till it went flat.

It worked OK last session but it was only a short 90min cruze
I have found with my logger that the battery percentage is only a rough indication of battery status and not an emphatical value. Some battery types don't like going under 20% charge as this can damage their longevity, so circuitry turns off before this damage can occur. On my Motion, 2hrs charge gives me app 10hrs logging. Hope this helps.

Three green lights means anywhere from 100% to 68%.
Two green and one red is 67% to 34%.
One green and two red is 33% to 1%.
Three red is 0%
I charge mine when I have two red lights
This is presumed solved in 3010 unless it happens again. YP1's battery does 16 hours logs so that wasn't it. Battery level scale changed a few times in the previous firmwares.
It appears I did manage to load some new devices sent about four weeks ago with a very outdated firmware (3000).
Please spread the word around. I'll contact the likely owners.
Here's Mini firmware 3010: www.motion-gps.com/motion/downloads/Motion-Small-3010.bin
And the (very simple) procedure: www.motion-gps.com/motion/documentation/firmware-update-wifi-small.html
Sorry!
